Braunschweig/Berlin, 26 August 2025 – After a long break, life is returning to IntercityHotel Braunschweig: on 1 September, the hotel will reopen its doors following extensive renovation work on the ground floor.
The entire team is looking forward to finally welcoming guests back to the hotel and starting the future with renewed energy. Since February, the hotel has been part of the Berlin-based Revo Hospitality Group, thus opening a new chapter in its nearly ten-year history. With its familiar fresh design, modern ambience and even stronger focus on hospitality, the IntercityHotel Braunschweig, with its 174 rooms and four modern conference rooms, will once again become a destination for business and city travellers alike.
The hotel will be managed by Raphaela Riener, who will shape the future of the hotel with her experience and passion as general manager:

The closure had become necessary after significant water damage on the ground floor required complete renovation. ‘We have used the past few months to completely renovate the affected areas and bring the hotel up to the latest technical standards,’ says Riener.
The IntercityHotel Braunschweig is located in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station and returns to the hotel landscape of the Lion City as a modern, reliable location.
